I am trying to record my gameplay (mostly truck simulator) in OBS studio. But no matter what my recording isn't looking good or high quality. What is the best settings in OBS for this?

Hello guys, I have recently started playing ETS2 on my laptop. After playing like 4-5 hrs game time( not continuous) it started to crash. Like it will be stuck for a few seconds then exit to windows. As per the game recommendations I have more than enough system configuration. What could be the issue? Has anyone faced earlier? Any help will be appreciated, thanks in advance.
I have bought a gift card on Amazon, and want to buy ETS2 game, how to do that? I'm not getting the option.
