No doubt, I knew that issue would be fixed. 5 lines of code is all the kernel needs to bring Linux to my desktop. I am so excited for ANY distro that starts using the 7.2 kernel (arch is only 7.1.8). I just want to be together with amdgpu.dpm=1 and far away from nomodeset or amdgpu.dpm=0.
Assisted by Claude Sonnet, the patch disables dynamic PCIe link switching for Pinnacle Ridge CPUs. Ain't that great?

Of course, I have a reason for it, but is Gentoo the only way to do that? I've seen people say that with Gentoo you compile your own system.

Edit: Turns out it's already in the mainline kernel.
