Don't really know what my interviewer meant by this

I just recently had an interview with what seems to be the perfect VISTA position. I just finished my second interview with them and it went well; I think there's a good chance I get offered this position. This is the only position I have even seen through Americorps that is in a great and affordable location I've always wanted to live in, and actually pays halfway decent, enough for me to cover my loan payments in addition to my rent and food. It's exactly what I want to do, would look great on my resume, and is even partially hybrid so I could work remote partly.

I keep thinking back to something the guy said in the first interview. He seemed really cool, and then he hit me with this:

"Yeah you won't get any off days here! Actually, if you find yourself with an off day, you'll need to call me so we can find something for you to do!"

I honestly thought he was joking and laughed with him but I actually think he might not have been joking. But like, that isn't allowed right? I'm currently doing VISTA summer service and we have to do timesheets and if we're way over or under our hours the HR people or whoever will ask you what's up.

So my question is, if I get offered this job and I take it, it's not allowed for them to work me every day right? There's a weekly hourly limit? If they need 40-50 hours a week, I've got it in me. I don't have 7 back to back 10 hour days in me though.i

AIO about our supervisors son knocking on our bedroom window at 10pm while living on their property?

I (NB 23) and my coworker Alice (F22) are living in an RV on our supervisors property. It's a long story, but we both are working a summer job and housing was included on site, but it didn't have AC or insulation or running water. The recent heat has made it unbearable to be in for 80% of the day and one of our other supervisors who lives in the area offered to let us stay in her rv which is so nice and is air conditioned with a toilet and running water and kitchen so we're really happy. She's an awesome woman, and this comes off the heels of one of our coworkers harassing us and cornering us on the property while inebriated, so we are both happy to be in a different living situation.

For context, our supervisor has two kids, a younger teen girl and a 17 year old boy. Both of her kids are on the spectrum and have low to medium support needs.

Tonight at around 10pm Alice heard a knock on her bedroom window. She was very scared and immediately came and got me. I put my shoes on and went outside of the trailer to see the son in the driveway, running away from the trailer and back into the house.

This boy has hugged Alice many times, frequently both at work (he is an intern at our job) and in their main house which we sometimes go to for dinner and such. One time she told me she counted 14 hugs in one day. He will sometimes come and hug her from behind which really freaks her out and she visibly starts and will move away. When his parents (supervisor and her husband) witness this they simply tell him he has to ask first, yet the behavior continues. He also hugs me frequently but only about 20% of the amount he hugs her so it does seem to be targeted in some way.

Our supervisor is fiercely protective of her kids, and we both recognize we are on her property and this is their trailer. At the same time, Alice is very freaked out, and we're both concerned as to why he didn't just knock on the door if he needed something for some reason, and why he was sprinting away when he heard me come out of the trailer to look around.

We're done with this job in just over a week and are wondering if this is something we're blowing out of proportion and should just wait out, or if we should talk to our supervisor about it. Alice is very scared to sleep as she has some past trauma with men and is incredibly freaked out by what happened. We don't want to offend our supervisor when she's been so kind to us, and she's fiercely defensive of her kids so I don't know how the discussion would go. However I think Alice is overwhelmed as it seems this kid has a crush on her and is going through puberty and maybe is having difficulty understanding boundaries. So, are we overreacting, and how in the world do I properly approach this situation?

Severe rage and irritation when quitting

So. I have tried quitting nicotine many times. I'm off the vaping now thankfully, and replaced it with zyns. As of right now I am taking 3 6mg zyns a day; one in the morning, one after lunch, one before bed. This is barely enough, and sometimes not enough, to keep me from being a raging asshole to my family and friends every day. After a few hours without one everything starts to get so irritating and annoying. I almost had a panic attack in the airport yesterday, I'm already on the autism spectrum so noises and crowds and lights are always difficult. But it had been a few hours without one and everything was irritating me. I started loudly talking to myself about how terrible everything was and genuinely couldn't stop myself. I was stuck behind this old lady walking really slow for a few minutes and, I managed to stay quiet, but the amount of pure rage that was inside me at that moment was terrifying and I felt like I was about to explode. I had so much rage inside of me, everything was making me so upset and I just felt like I hate everyone.

Even now when I'm writing this and it's been a few hours I can feel it creeping back in. I hate this feeling, it feels like I hate everything and everyone and sometimes all of my anxieties and fears come crashing down on me and I just start crying. And then I pop a zyn and it just dissipates and I'm happy again. The zyn goes in and I immediately feel this wash of shame of how I acted, and feel like a completely different person that could never feel that angry. It's weird and scary.

So sorry for my long rant above, but my question is mainly, who else has experienced this? Is this level of rage and severe irritation of people just existing a normal side effect of quitting? And what the hell can I do about it? How can I use less and less and eventually wean myself off, without alienating every single person around me while doing it? It scares me, I feel out of control and like a completely different person.

I (23M) and my friend Jen (24F) were at a Chilis yesterday. We ordered our food and I got a cocktail and she got an iced tea since she was driving. When I got my cocktail I had a sip and really liked it, Jen is picky about alcohol but I felt like she'd like this drink since it was so sweet and fruity. I asked her if she'd like to try a sip and she said sure.

As she was trying it I hear someone quite literally scream "NAWNAWNAWWWW" behind me. I turn around to see that our waitress who took our orders and served our drinks is flying towards us at a terrifying speed. She gets to our table and loudly says something like (don't remember exact wording now) "It is COMPLETELY ILLEGAL to drink someone else's drink."

I understand how they may assume my friend was underage because we are near a college campus and since she ordered a tea, they never ID'd her. So of course Jen immediately says something like "Oh no no don't worry, I'm not underage" and pulls out her ID. I assume this is the end of it but somehow this seems to make the waitress even madder. She doesn't even look at it but insists that since she didn't ID her at the beginning, and since she was drinking a drink without being ID'd beforehand, that what we were doing was a "federal crime" (her words) and that she could get fired.

I feel like that wasn't correct and tried to say that I don't actually think that was illegal. She interrupts me and points her finger at the door and says we were being belligerent and would need to leave. I told her that we hadn't even gotten our main course, we only had our appetizers and drinks, and we hadn't even paid for those yet. She gets a blank look on her face and tells us to stay there and disappears for over 5 minutes.

Then a guy approaches our table, I assume the manager, and asks to see my friends ID. She shows it, of course it's fine, and he apologizes and says our drinks and appetizers would be on the house and that our main courses would be out shortly. At this point I was feeling very confused over what the hell just happened and just wanted to leave so I asked if we could get our mains to go. I then asked what happened with our waitress and this seemed to irritate him which confused me further, he flapped his hand and walked away while saying "miscommunication".

We paid the rest and left and didn't see the original waitress again for the remainder of our time in the restaurant. I tried to do some research online and see if what she was saying was true, that you can't drink if you haven't been ID'd first, but couldn't find anything about this. If that is a real law (I live in Arizona) then maybe I was the asshole for insisting she was wrong or allowing my friend to have a sip of drink at all. In my head though it's fucking ridiculous that my friend who is almost 25 got screamed at for having a sip of a drink, especially so when she immediately provided her ID when she was questioned.

So, AITAH for letting my friend have a sip of my drink?

Edit to add that all I said to the manager guy was "Uhhhh, is everything okay?" after the incident, and that's when he seemed a little upset, though I could have been misreading the situation. I wasn't trying to get anything else, I genuinely was unsure if I had actually broken a rule or what in the world had just happened. I was also on the verge of tears because i am autistic and the sudden loud noises and confrontation really upset me which is why I wanted to go home. I was not rude to the manager and was not expecting anything else from anyone.
