Morganyt is an important character to VSCR's story. Sometimes a patron, an enemy, an ally, an employer to them, they have no real idea what to do with her.

She's the one who did Vhite's prosthesis, helped him and Layla flee Atlas, gave them a way to infiltrate Menagerie... all while being the one who actually put a bounty on their head and told hitmans where they were hiding...

Added to that is, how a 85 years old woman can look that young, and what's happening to the left half of her body ? And why the hell is Layla, one of the best hitman of Remnant, absolutely terrified of her ?
She's a powerful ally when she wants to, but they're really cautious of what her end goals may be. It just seems their objective converge in destroying Hazan and the Fang... But they have no idea why.

She may very well be my favorite concept among all my OC's, and the one I have the most idea for !

Recently picked up the hobby again, here's a few nids by a beginner !

I've purchased a Leviathan half some time ago, painted a few Nids, and gave up due to lack of time.

But recently, I've been playing Space Marine 2, and even introduced a new friends to the hobby, and got a big motivation regain, here's my paint job, of course, far from incredible, I'm still a beginner, but I can already see some progresses from where I left !

I plan to purchase some gray seer for a better gray look, as well as sume Nuln Oil to make it a bit better, maybe 1 or 2 texture paint !

I'd be opened to any criticism about my paints, I'd like to give my little guys the look they deserved !

( PS : The modified Behemoth look with gray seems to come from Scriv_Paints on Instagram, at least that's where I saw it and wanted to replicate it ! )

Hello ! Non Marine player here, I introduced a friend to Warhammer, and he absolutely loves the Salamanders, and would like starting collecting them. What would you recommend ?

I'm not a big warhammer connoisseur myself, I have like, one leviathan half of Tyranids. But for a friend's birthday, I wanted to try to get them in the hobby as I knew they were curious about it.

So I offered them the lil box with 3 infernus ultramarines to paint, and he LOVED it, we spent the afternoon on it, he was super hyped, and told me he liked the marine, but always had his eyes on the Salamanders, loving their aesthetic. Good news is with the few paints the box have, he should only need some green, brown and maybe red, so paints should be good.

So my question, as he have not reddit, would be, what would you recomend a new player in love with the salamanders to begin with ?

He loves the painting, but also is really interested in the tabletop game. So, what would be a good beginning for him to get some nice models while also maybe playing small games ?

And another question, to help with is, I know some marine models can be played freely between chapters, but is it the case of like, the space marine half of the leviathan box ? What about the starter set if he's able to find half of it ?

If he can't use some of them, what is a good beginning ? I searched for the combat patrol and strike force, but can't find them available anywhere.

So, I'd like to get some advices from experimented Salamanders !
