Let me draw your rwby ocs
Give me 6 of your ocs to draw. I want to step out of my comfort zone and draw others ocs, mostly out of curiosity of what they would lock like in my style.

I don't know much about guns so curious yall's take and info for big guns. Trying to make primarily support sniper and know .50 cal popular in fiction though huntsman do seem stronger then average so maybe alt types could use?
I do not want to go over the yap over this gun- I'm just making this for absolute fun considering I do like RWBY's Hybrid Weaponry.
And also-
"THIS IS FOR THE COOLNESS FACTOR- NOT THE PRACTICAL FACTOR!"
oh and I am still learning chow!
And yes it's based off of my other Weapon I made 6 months ago.

Fun fact about me: I am a HUGE fan of the band Sabaton. And recently, I have become addicted to their recent song, "A Tiger Among Dragons", which is based on the life of legendary Chinese warrior Lu Bu.
My addiction to this song, coupled with my plan to give Yang Xiao Long Lu Bu's weapon (the Fangtian Huaji) in addition to Ember Celica in my planned RWBY rewrite, has made me realize a question I should have asked the FNDM a LONG time ago.
That question is this: Who here in the RWBY FNDM has created an OC that is based on/inspired by Lu Bu? If you have created such an OC, then I want to hear all the details about them. Their backstory, their personality, their appearance, their weapon(s) and fighting style(s), their Semblance, the whole shebang.
As always, please be respectful when posting your replies.
Yalloo everyone! I'm currently saving up for a new tablet to get an upgrade because my current tablet's buttons are starting to malfunction, and the dead pixels are starting to spread from the corners of the screen. I do have a spare Android tablet, but I don't wanna keep paying for a subscription to a software I already have on my pc.

I am currently conducting further research on the original lore.
I would like to create an original location set in the world of Vacuo.
The tentative name for this location is Grand Bazaar—the marketplace of Vacuo.
One of the few places where Lien is valuable, aside from Shade Academy.
I would greatly appreciate your input on where this location should be situated and how it should be described.

"Torch their homes, slaughter their young and, most importantly, don’t let any of them escape…" - The Matriarch
Throughout the vast wildlands and ruins of Remnant, seemingly endless hordes of Grimm roam. For every monstrosity that is slaughtered by Huntsmen, ten more seem to take its place, crawling from the shadowy recesses of nature. Within caves, dense foliage and even ancient ruins, specialized Grimm set up and maintain the spawning pools from which their endless ranks are constantly being replenished.
Classified as the “Jorogumo”, these spider-humanoid Grimm serve as the engineers and custodians of each Grimm horde. In their base form, these Grimm are almost never found outside of the nests that they care for, devoting a majority of their time, weaving defenses and expanding the sizes of their nests. Despite their more passive role, the Jorogumo have hair-trigger tempers ready to go off at anything that disturbs their meticulous work. Even the newly-formed Grimm that emerge from their pools are not immune to their wrath. If any of them make the mistake of trampling on a Jorogumo’s web, their brief existence will come to a violent and painful end as they are repeatedly stabbed and torn limb from limb in a mad frenzy. Ironically, this obsession with their own territory makes Jorogumo incredibly prone to infighting, straight up murdering each other and letting rival nests dry out. Though on occasion, multiple older Jorogumo may agree to expand in different directions to avoid such conflicts.
Compared to the Nuckalvee, the Jorogumo is not as flexible nor as durable. Instead, it relies heavily on territorial defenses and advanced mobility to win its fights. Its webs aren’t lethal but can serve as motion sensors informing the Jorogumo of the exact locations of intruders and obstacles that can slow the progress of any attacker. The older Jorogumo may even use their webwork and the acoustics of their surroundings to mimic the shrill scream of a woman or child to pull intruders deeper into an awaiting ambush. Fire is a crippling weakness for the Jorogumo and can cause them to flee in terror at its presence - though this often leads to more problems down the line.
Unlike most other Grimm, Jorogumo don’t evolve into their “Alpha” state with age, but rather through circumstance. When a Jorogumo’s nest is purged but the Jorogumo remains, it undergoes a berserk metamorphosis as its overwhelming rage and hatred twists its physical form. The Jorogumo loses its ability to produce spawning fluid in exchange for even greater strength, perception and sadistic intelligence. In this state, these Alphas become lone predators, beelining to the nearest human settlement to terrorize. Instead of attacking right away, the Alpha Jorogumo wait until midnight before slipping past and kidnapping villagers at random. From there, the Jorogumo uses the terrified cries of its hostages to lure rescuers into a death trap of webs and tight corridors that heavily favor the Jorogumo’s strength and wall-climbing abilities.
When sieging a Grimm nest, Huntsmen are advised to move as a Team, placing explosive charges as they go. They are also advised to bring along the appropriate gear (flashlights, flares and blades for cutting through webs) and encouraged to follow a doctrine of cautious advance until they eliminate the Jorogumo. However, many veteran Huntsmen have cleared enough nests to be able to solo blitz them and reach the Jorogumo before it even has time to formulate a counterattack. Meanwhile, less morally conscious Huntsmen may take the easy way out by simply burning out the nest to claim the bounty and letting any potential survivors be someone else’s problem down the line.
When I finished Cobalt's character sheet and lore blurb, I was also finished his weapon of choice: Stranger's Greetings, a dual-staged linear motor assault rifle, combining traditional Dust-powder with rail gun mechanics for power and bullet velocity comparable to anti-tank rifles.
Backstory: The diversity of underground fight clubs in Mistral in general and Argus in particular means that Cobalt has tried nearly every fighting style there is. Fistfights, knives, swords, hammers, axes, maces, he had gone into matches at least once with them. After a lot of lost rounds, he finally settled on firearms, particularly automatic rifles, as his very much preferred form of combat. Less risks for him going up against people whose seem to be trending on melee weapons and Grimm in the future, he reasoned.
The power of normal Dust rifles, even Huntsmen-grade one, left him something to be desired, though. One day, when he was scrolling on the CCTNet, he came across some news article about Atlas's development into rail guns and their power compared to regular weaponry, and an idea struck him. The experimental rail gun shown is too big, and scaling it down would diminish its power considerably, but what if it could be combined with traditional guns to act as a second-stage booster? So, through the help of a friend of a friend who is a weaponsmith specialized in Huntsmen weaponry, he created and named Stranger's Greetings. He decided to not give the weapon mechashift capability for added reliability (he did not trust his mechanics skill enough so he decided to keep it simple-er), and to keep it in line with his style.
It's been a year since I dropped KELT onto this subreddit and 3 years since I first started working on them. I figured I’d open up a proper Q&A for anyone curious about KELT, the characters or the worldbuilding behind it 😄
You don’t need to have seen everything or pieced anything together to ask questions. Anything is fine, whether it’s about lore, timelines, character decisions, symbolism, weapons, or just general curiosity.
I’ll try to answer as much as I can without completely spoiling everything (despite my latest post)… emphasis on try 😭
Kindly avoid RP-type questions though. Unfortunately, the mods closed the Phantom post I did a few months ago because of that, so let’s avoid repeating history.
Ask away >W<
Kinda bored this days, any open RP kn group or 1 on 1 that i can join.
(I do not creat RPs i usually join tho)
Thanks
so I have an idea for an oc that I'm trying to create but I can't draw for the life of me so I'm asking you guys for help or at least give me some suggestions? I can't wait to hear what you guys recommend for me :D
So basically it’s my first time trying to have a go at an actual OC. Written down and everything just for fun. It’s kinda a half self insert half OC but now I’m just rambling. Can ya’ll rate this semblance and any input or anything? Just wanted to get the opinion of others. That and i’d love to hear how ya’ll came up with the semblances for your characters.
Semblance: Unnoticed Problems
Causes targets the user focuses on to become less aware of enemy combatants. Making them more susceptible to distractions, and easier to sneak past.
This is her! She’s an Atlas specialist inspired by Wesker, her personality is similar to Midnight from MHA.
She loves the beach and visited Vale a lot for this very reason, and she also experiments with Grimm in her spare time in her own private/secret facility.
She’s a WIP, don’t have a ton on her yet but yeah.
Kelt.
A salmon that survived the journey.
Barely.
Most do not make it back.
Recently I thought about all the stuff I want to make and how long it was going to take and was wondering: "What do others do with / for their OCs" This is by no means a cylinder measuring contest, love doesn't always translate into effort and that's fine. I'm curious about what other people do and maybe it'll inspire others to do the same. We obviously have seen great art, crowdsourcing ideas and I remember there was even a poll a while ago. As for me:
Currently I'm working on rewriting my AU Fanfic The Heaven's Path (or the THPAU). My initial version is kinda bad in hindsight and I believe I have improved my writing skills that the new version will be a better read. Afterwards I'll release it together with Chapter 5 Showstopper part 1 (starring Neo).
Once that's done I will properly learn blender to make Gwenyn's weapon. Maybe even animate it? I have already dipped my toe into it, and made a mess of a mesh in a couple of hours.
Last on my agenda would be to make Silver Rhea's character profile. I'll probably change up my format to make it a better read. (Unlike Anya's, who reached the character limit)
Maybe if this subreddit holds another event in the meantime, I may change my priorities. But again, I would like to know what you're working on.
WIP Custom RWBY weapon for an OC i've been cooking up. His weapon is fairly basic looking but it is within the character i have in mind.
any suggestions to "Spice it up" is appreciated
Name: Violet Regalia
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Birthplace: Atlas
Age: 24
Semblance: Wraith Slip. Violet can disappear into a void through shadows. The void acts like an ocean with a seemingly infinite depth, however its width is restricted by the shadow itself only extending as far as the shadow. Using her semblance Violet can disappear and reappear whenever she likes. Her semblance works best during the Night or in dark enclosed areas like tunnels. Each shadowy area will act like its own void that Violet cannot travel through meaning she would have to re-emerge then disappear again if a light beam separates the two shadow zones; shining a light to erase the shadow will forcefully eject her from the void. Despite this, Violet uses her semblance to perform her role as a stealth infiltrator exceptionally. She has trained for years to minimise the telltale ripple her form makes when entering or leaving a shadow, and can hold herself suspended within the void for extended periods, listening to conversations above her or waiting out patrols without ever being detected.
Weapon: Silent Storm. Violet's katana is charged with a variant of hard light dust that can be used to create ranged slashing attacks and extend the length of her blade through hard light, often catching opponents off guard. She also carries a tanto for defensive duelling and kunai for stealthier takedowns. The tanto is sheathed on her upper thigh for rapid draws when someone closes the distance. Her kunai are weighted for both throwing and close-quarters stabbing, primarily kept across her waist she also keeps several concealed across her body for surprise attacks. Each blade is coated in a fast-acting paralytic agent she brews herself, allowing her to incapacitate targets who might otherwise alert others before they can be silenced. She also houses smoke pellets and other tools used to artificially create the shadows for her Semblance when operating in well-lit environments in several pouches on her back.
Combat: Violet is a stealth and infiltration specialist; as such, most of her "combat" involves quick and silent strikes meant to take out opponents in one move. However she is no slouch in standard engagement, with her arsenal giving her a wide range of attacks. Violet fights best in dark areas where she can make use of her semblance to catch opponents off guard, disappearing through the shadows before they can retaliate. In open engagements she favours hit-and-run tactics, using her hard light extensions to strike from distances opponents misjudge, then vanishing before the counter lands. When forced into a straight duel she relies on precise, efficient swordplay drilled into her since childhood, her katana work clean and textbook rather than flashy. Her greatest weakness is prolonged fighting in brightly lit, open areas; without shadows to retreat into, her Semblance is useless and she is forced to rely on pure skill, and while she is still dangerous in this state, she is nowhere near the threat she becomes in the dark.
Personality: Violet is cold, composed, and deeply resentful. Years of being held up as the Regalia standard have calcified her into someone who expresses almost nothing openly, projecting an air of quiet superiority that masks constant, gnawing exhaustion. She views her siblings with thinly veiled contempt; Jamie as a blunt instrument who coasts on the family name, and Rebecca as a disappointment who embarrassed the family by being talented at the wrong things. Outside the family she is largely indifferent to people, treating most as obstacles, tools, or targets depending on the mission. She shares her father's disdain for Mantle and its citizens, blaming the lower city's unrest for the pressures placed on her shoulders, and has been known to take out her frustrations on its residents during patrols and "cleanup" operations. Behind the detached facade is someone who has never been allowed to fail and consequently has no idea who she would be without the Regalia name, something she refuses to examine too closely.
Backstory
Violet was born shortly after Ironwood's appointment as General. Her father was still very bitter about the decision, and as his eldest child he expected Violet to carry on the Regalia Legacy. The high amounts of pressure forced Violet to work herself half to death, however the results paid off. As leader of her own team during her time at Atlas Academy, top of her class and an expert in stealth and infiltration ops, Violet became the standard Cardinal held over his other children, and neither Rebecca nor there brother Jamie managed to surpass her. However, all of Violet's achievements left her exhausted and constantly on edge, and she would often take out her frustrations on the citizens of Mantle, whose instability she saw as the cause for her constant need to do more.
After graduating from Atlas Academy, Violet was recruited directly into the Extra Solitas Expeditions under her father's command, where her Semblance and skillset were put to far darker use than any academy instructor had prepared her for. Her assignments ranged from scouting hostile territory and neutralising Grimm advance scouts, to reconnaissance on political rivals of the Regalia family, to the quiet removal of individuals Cardinal deemed threats to Atlas and whose deaths he could not afford to publicly order. Violet carried out every assignment without question, telling herself each one was for the kingdom, and the ease with which she convinced herself of this scared her less with every passing year.
By the time of the fall of Beacon she had become her father's most trusted asset, working alongside Jamie to coordinate the groundwork for Cardinal's plans against Ironwood. While Jamie handled the public-facing elements of the scheme through his task force, Violet operated in the spaces between, gathering intelligence, silencing loose ends, and preparing the infiltration routes that would be needed when the time came to move against the General.

Incredible work on making a casual fit for Soojin. Took inspiration from a demon hunter which I thought worked very well with her style.
