Not worth it unless you REALLY want to use a minigun, or you either have a friend or a j*b.

The minigun is very good (11/12), but not as good as the M1 carbine or Spas-12.

Start by getting a slime rain, then wait for night. Let a falling slime above you get hit by a fallen star. Hope that slime contains ore. Collect the ore. Build a platform for spawning more slimes. Get enough ore to make a large platform. Kill a bunch of slimes to spawn their king. Smite their king with fallen stars or use a slime staff (this might take a bit). Place the solidifier and craft slime furniture and walls. Make houses with such slime furniture. 

Purchase a bug net and an anvil from the merchant. Collect bait with such bug net. Craft some iron/lead ores into bars and craft them into buckets and a reinforced fishing pole. Wait for it to rain and drop the bucket onto the ground to fill it with water. Keep fishing until you get an extractinator from a wooden crate. Create a slime toilet, wait for it to rain, and kill flying fish to obtain fries. Use the fries and the toilet to obtain poo. Extract such poo for dirt and jungle grass seeds. Craft the dirt into mud and place it underground along with the jungle grass seeds. Now face the Wall of Flesh by getting lava from a slime and dropping the guide in. Kill the Wall with fallen stars, a demon scythe, or starfury obtained from fishing (roller skates will be effective here).

Once the Wall is defeated, keep killing enemies until you get mech boss spawners. Kill the mechs with fallen stars (might be difficult). After defeating the mechs, go underground to spawn Plantera. After defeating Plantera, collect both lihzahrd platforms and turn them into a single brick. Place this brick in the underground with the wall. Farm lihzahrds and flying snakes until you get a power cell. Summon and defeat golem, then start building out to where the dungeon enterance would be. the cultists should spawn there. Destroy the Lunatic Cultist and the pillars, and finally the Moon Lord.

Do NOT try this. It will take years to complete even the first few steps.
