Is this squirrel ok (tail looks off)?

This sweet squirrel came to my balcony, when I saw his tail I was concerned. The first inch or two is his regular bushy black fur, then it thins out completely where you see the lighter fur. What could cause this?

Tried to get the best photos I could. I’ve never seen a squirrel with this fur pattern before, it looks like the end portion of his tail was given a complete haircut. Is this normal, is the squirrel likely ok?

Located in southern Alberta, Canada. Thank you to anyone with insight

How to get growth on bare long stems that don’t look healthy? Stems are brown at ends, is it ok?

Hi all!

I got this hoya pubicalyx as it looks right now.
I researched and tried some ideas to help the branches grow leaves, but there’s no new growth and I’m unsure how to proceed. To me, the ends of the stems where there’s no growth don’t look healthy to me because they are dark brown, but I read not to cut them. When I looked online, those who had similar circumstances of long stems/no growth had green stems, now dark brown

I’d thought this type of hoya would grow and “drape” out of it’s pot, but I will do what needs to be done in order for it to grow and survive. Is it an absolute necessity for a lattice? Will it not grow in a hanging basket? Is it ok to attach little plant clips along my wall to give it something to grow along?

Currently, it gets around 6 to 10 hours of indirect bright light. The pot has drainage and the roots look healthy to me. The current leaves appear healthy. No temperature swings. I feel the soil and use a little stick on the edge to see the depth of dryness/wetness. If it’s about 1.5 inches dry I water it with a squeeze bottle

I had it on a shelf that had bars along the top, I read on another post it might want to “latch on” to those in order to grow around (sort of like a lattice). I gently moved the branches against/around the bars. It didn’t grow further or seem to show interest in conforming to them after a few weeks. I’m worried about injuring the long branches, but I’m also worried they’re just dead? If I use plant clips along my wall to guide it, approx how long should I wait to know it’s going to be okay / what signs should I look for (ex. will the brown ends turn green)?

Thank you for reading this. I am new to this, if you have any advice/suggestions I would greatly appreciate it!

Found these I clearly got years ago cannot remember what in the world they are. It seems like maybe a piece of material is supposed to go in between the base of the metal thing and then I’d attach the screw to hold it together?

The only thing I can guess is, maybe it’s uses on a purse or something that you would then attach a clip/handle to the loop part of the metal? Please help

Got these in perfect condition, had them for a few days. Then by accident, I left them on a ledge that gave them about 7 hours of direct sunlight. Temperature in room around 22 Celsius (72 Fahrenheit). They were alone for about 24 hours before I got to them and they were absolutely wilted, some leaves crispy. Their soil was dry, but not super dry.

They have gotten a tiny bit better (especially the cow) once I gave them some water and put them in a spot with indirect light. But I'm a novice and I don't want to have failed them. Please, is there any advice on rehabbing them (if possible)? Thank you

Asking as someone with almost no knowledge of the game, I am just curious. I’ve started reading this subreddit and have watched clips of various seasons, but I know nothing about the eras, strategies, what an idol is, twists, I don’t know how challenges are played until they are explained, etc.

I read a lot of comments like “this would never work on new era Survivor” or “this person should have done XYZ at tribal council” or “they should have kept their idol because XYZ” or “XYZ always happens at this point in the game” etc. Some super fans are cast, and I would venture to guess that anyone competing would at least have watched some seasons of the show before being cast. What if the contestant had zero knowledge of any of this “XYZ”?

Theoretically, could someone compete on the show and win who has absolutely zero knowledge of how to play any portion of the game until they get there? Assuming this contestant would be reasonably fit, be generally personable, and have an average level of intelligence

EDIT: This isn’t a joke post, I really don’t know anything but I’m eager to learn from people who actually watch the show (I know I could look some stuff up but I want to hear opinions from fans). Thank you to anyone who is willing to share their knowledge with me
