Ammo ID? Found in old belt.

Found a row of these in an old leather belt I found in my shed - I assumed it was costume stuff, but when one fell out I realized it seems real? There were two types, placed in alternating slots on the belt. (Bullets & blanks?). Really tiny gauge - about 5mm diameter, maybe 23mm long.

The belt is marked “The George Lawrence Co., Portland Oregon”. And the bullets seem to be marked with a U and some text logo on the other.

Any ID or help appreciated. Any harm in trying to clean them up?

Milestone of threes…

Happened to look down at the dash while waiting in a parking lot, and found five threes in a row. Just hit 33,333 mi in my ‘18. Still a brilliant driver’s car!
