• Fixed the notification/lock screen showing two "previous" buttons on Samsung phones (the skip button had the wrong icon)
• You can now actually delete your own playlists again from the 3-dot menu in the Spotify UI. Same bug was also hiding "Edit playlist", "Create cover art" and "Remove from this playlist" on songs
• Tapping a lyric line on the Spotify player used to skip to the next song. It now seeks to that line like it should
• The song menu in the fullscreen player no longer freaks out when you scroll it fast
• Fixed the download popup getting stuck on screen after a failed download (the X button does something now, no more force closing the app)
• Opening an artist page from the player no longer covers the tabs and mini player
• Joining a shared collab playlist actually sticks now. It used to show up for a second and then vanish
• Collab invite links opened in a browser gave an error page. Fixed
• Fixed the seek bar on custom players restarting the song instead of seeking
• Closing the app fully now disconnects you from Eclipse Connect properly (other devices stopped seeing a ghost of your phone)
• NEW: Gapless playback. Songs flow into each other with no silence. On by default, toggle in Settings
• NEW: Skip Silence option in Settings
• NEW: Autoplay on Bluetooth toggle. If you don't want music blasting the second your car connects, you can turn that off now
• Loudness Normalization works
• EQ and audio effects no longer die after a crossfade

New update is out on both iOS and Android that lets you change to a new theme that might look familiar!

I know UI is an important element of a music app, and having used spotify for many years- its nice to sometimes have something familiar so I have brought this new skin to Eclipse!

You can continue using the current skin if you wish, or in settings you can change the skin to Spotify! There have also been improvvements to eclipse connect and Jam sessions.

Hey everyone! Exciting new update out on Web Player, Windows, iOS and MacOS!

Eclipse "Connect”

What this feature does is lets you transfer or control playback from any device. For example, if you are listening to music on your mobile device you can transfer it to your PC (windows app or web needs to be open) and itll transfer the playback and queue. You can also control playback from your phone if you wanna just keep listening on web or Windows app.

This is a brand new feature and a bit complex so if theres any issues or quirks please let me know!

Android will also receive this update, im setting up an android phone to be able to properly test before pushing it

Web version is live. you just need to update windows, ios and macOS to get the update !

New:
-Podcast support: in settings enable podcasts in Apple Music settings then you will see a new podcast bubble in search tab
-Create your own custom fullscreen player- in player settings you’ll see a new custom option , mess around and create your own player
-did some things in background to hopefully improve playback as well as some bug fixes that were user reported

The fullscreen player takes some playin with to get used to but hope you enjoy!

Hey guys! New eclipse web player has been released and can be accessed via website! If you also type in eclipsemusic.app/web you can access it!

It has full sync addon support , podcast support and everything. This is really early alpha and some things may be slow to load or not work as well but wanted to push it out for users on desktop who don’t wanna download an app or are on Linux and want a way to use eclipse on their desktop!

New update for windows Eclipse!

Following the same pattern of iOS and Android, Eclipse Windows brings us more stability, better performance and overall better playback.

Whats also improved is importing playlists- should be on par with Android and iOS and should be essentially instant.

Looking forward to further improving eclipse! Eclipse as a whole has only been around for 5 months and Windows alone for 2ish of those months! Still a long way to go!

Also, fixed issue where volume would go to 100% volume on song change.

Sorry guys another tag but another quick hotfix wanted to make sure I fix this before heading out of town this weekend

-Added add to library button to albums, playlists on home tab , discover and search tab

This will now lets you add entire albums or playlists to your library!

Hey guys im releasing 0.4.3 hot fix

-Quick update to fix playlist not opening in search tab

-FLAC format songs should now play faster when tapped. i was being completely stupid about something but now it should be snappier so please let me know!

-Targeted fix at PLEX library not showing up/ scanning for songs properly and causing crashes. Some users still report it not properly connecting so if you do please lmk and I can have you send logs

-Added a download button for albums and artists in My Library section

-Fixed a couple funky locations w transparent sheets (if you find any pls lmk and i will fix)

Whats New?

-Local folder support: In Connections settings point eclipse to a local folder with music, and in library tab you can now play your local music

-Liquid glass toggle in settings: Disabled it to turn the bottom tab and mini player into a regular dark model instead of liquid glass

-Improved playlist downloads + better error handling

-Quality pill on fullscreen players indicating quality of song thats currently playing

-Targeted fix at playlist crashes that would happen due to same song being in multiple playlists

-Improved Android Auto (minimal testing done as I dont have AA to test except a very limited emulator)

-Repeat fixed, song will now repeat if enabled

In general went through the bugs list and tried to tackle as many of those. Future update will get more integration and features

I prolly missed a few things as ive been doing this over course of a few weeks but enjoy nonetheless !

Siri Integration

Launch app and after launching, siri should now recognize eclipse

Say something like "Hey Siri, play Not Afraid by Eminem on Eclipse" or "Play my playlist [Playlist name] on Eclipse"

This is first iteration it was a pain to get to work but it will get improved each update to cover more and more features across the app

Also Siri can launch music or playlists even if app isnt open!

-Improved song downloads (from local testing at least)
-Offline songs should no longer use data (was a pre buffering bug)
-Some crashing issues with playlists
-Better error handling when connecting plex to see why it fails for some users
-Should run smoother
-Stereo Width bug

Next update will be more QOL things across the board + im aware of an issue with airplay users say phone resources sky rocket I am also looking into that + a cool feature im excited for 😄
