Rogers charging illegal cancellation fees on Internet

Moved from Toronto to Oakville July 2026 where Rogers is physically unable to provide similar Internet. They then decided to charge me $180 in cancellation fees for the balance of a 2 yr agreement, recently made illegal by the CRTC, and for a service THEY are unable to fullfill. WTF?

Escalated to Executive Customer Relations and all they offered was $50 off for goodwill. Went to CCTS and case was accepted on merit but is still not resolved. Now has gone to concilliation level but that seems to be a completely backlogged black hole. (What is up with these Telcos?)

It's incredible that great big national rich Rogers is once again harrassing me, an otherwise happy customer until now, for just over $128.

Way to go Rogers in destroying any goodwill you once had with me!
