My Romeo and Juliet

I snagged Bob and Marley (two mystery snails) from a local pet store whom I honestly thought were dead. I get them home in a 9gal with a few fancy guppies and Snoop and Dog (my nitrate snails) and holy hell did they blossom.

5/23/26 I discovered their first clutch. 3 weeks later, a second. 6 days later, a third. I decided to attempt to hatch these interesting babes. Well before I could get another tank... here came clutch number 4.

Two weeks ago I got a 20gal and moved them over with some cherry shrimp, black skirt tetras, rabbitnose snails and some albino corydoras. I HAVE 2 MORE CLUTCHES!!! One has hatched with unfortunately only 4 making it. The first 4 clutches I had in a Tupperware incubator. Those 4 babies are growing strong... but now I have 5 more clutches. Keep in mind- successful hatch can yield up to 100+ or more depending on size.

The new two I'm leaving to hatch off the glass ( 2 1/2 inch above water) so wish me luck.

Anyone else have two love snails?? Never in my life did I think I'd be a mystery snail breeder lol but here I am!

If anyone is interested in updates let me know! I posted some pictures, I tried to post one of the babies!! Not too sure what I'm going to do with them. Ideas? Someone mentioned selling them, no idea how to do that lol. Enjoy my snail journey!!
