Just in case anyone is looking for this. I found these tie down loops on Amazon. They fit nicely where your left passenger peg is. I use it to keep my Tusk bags secured evenly on both sides (angle matches muffler side) so my bags don’t pull down on one side and forward on the other. Easy cheap option in case you’re looking. (First pic just because 😎)
I’m not sure where I read this, but I owe whoever posted a big thank you in regard to the short windscreen for tall riders. The sport windscreen from Puig is fantastic. Not only does it basically eliminate buffeting at speed, it completely changes the feeling of the bike off road. No more giant swaying windscreen making you feel like the bike is twice as big as it is. The T7 feels more like a powerful dual sport than ever.
I know the love is strong for big rally towers, but I personally like the feel of my smaller off-road bikes so much better for the simple reason there’s nothing in front of me while riding. You stand up and the whole bike disappears below you. Now my T7 feels just like that.
Anyways. Long story short. If you are 6 foot plus and want to fix the T7s awful wind buffeting, spend $120 and get the sport screen. You’ll love it. IMO 👍
