hey yall, im genuinely at my wits end

this is my male pearl gourami, i got him last saturday. the first 5 days were fine, then i noticed him building a bubblenest. i destroyed it during a water change but noticed some eggs floating around, ever since then hes done nothing but be aggressive, he chases other fish, rips up surface plants, he tried some courting behavior (when he doesnt chase them like in the video) with the female pearls but they reject him im pretty sure

what the hell can i do about this? the stress from his chasing has already killed atleast of my rummy noses and all my fish now hide from him (and he now searches them out to chase them???????)

i dont have enough space for an appropriately sized timeout aquarium

Ive been picking out a dozen bladder snails every day and fhey just keep coming, today somehow there was a massive explosion and i found over 40 of them - ive been picking them out for an hour but they just keep coming, and i know that therell be more tomorrow... How do they even survive i havent added any potential food yet, should i just say fuck it and get a couple assassin snails? The water parameters would allow it, no amonnia or nitrit, good temp, ph & kh

Also 2nd & 3rd question i decided to see if my filter had any debris inside and found all that brown gunk - i cleared out the big particles by hand but left all the brown stuff, is that benefitial bacteria or something else?

3rd my sand has some grey almost back spots randomly, are they something to be worried about? No photo cause when i tried to unearth more it turned to yellow sand again

Hey y'all, I've just set up my first Aquarium and the plants look... Dreadful already

pH is ~7, I've used as much liquid fertilizer as was suggested for the volume on the fertilizer

Ammonia & nitrite levels are low enough for plants not to be affected (haven't finished the cycling) the light is 240 w, I don't have a c02 or nitrate kit but the chart for calculating it via ph/kh says it should be 6, temp is 27 degrees c

Java fern (tied to hard scape)

Limnobium laevigatum

Taxiphylum barbieri

Bucephalandra sp

Alternathera reineckii

Echinodorus
