I 23m have been dating my gf 22f and we have been experiencing a lack of intimacy for the relationship,

we have been dating for around 8 months now and at the beginning I knew something was different than past relationships because she was very shy, it turns out she’s never even so much as kissed or dated anyone before, I’m the first person she has let be close to her

at the beginning it was so nice because I felt special however as the relationship progressed and she opened up a lot more it was clear that sexual intimacy was something that might be an issue, about 3 months in when things got more intense she’d say things like I want to in the future or I’d like to take it slow which was so fine because she’s a wonderful human being in so many ways and I was happy to wait even though I have quite a high sex drive

however it was almost like we’ve hit a brick wall, she’s met my family and friends however her family doesn’t even know I exist even after 8 months, she hasn’t said she loves me and she doesn’t want to be intimate,

I’ve completely stopped initiating because she recently said she felt there was too much pressure on intimacy even though I’ve been constantly asking her to communicate what she’s comfortable with but she never brings it up in the moment or says she’s if feeling uncomfortable and it makes me want to cry,

honestly I’m being completely turned off because I can’t find a middle ground with her and she won’t communicate to me how she’s feeling no matter how many times I ask and show her that there’s no problem with telling me this stuff, her enjoyment is my enjoyment and I really love this woman however I’m not sure how to navigate this situation

I feel like the core issue is just her not communicating with me what she wants so I’m left wondering constantly, I feel undesirable and feel like she’s ashamed of me, all I want is to know what she’s thinking like even if she didn’t want intimacy that’s so fine and maybe that would mean we wouldn’t be compatible but I think she’s scared of losing me and it’s so frustrating I hope this makes sense and I’d love some advice on how other people have navigated similar situations
