Hi everyone! I'm new to this subreddit and I would like to tell you my story.

Yesterday I got my Nixon Rotolog in which I fell in love with 20+ years ago, but didn't buy back then. Last week I was talking with my son about watches and suddenly I remembered this one again. Instantly searched for one online and bought it without even blinking. I want to polish the scratch out but the overall quality is amazing! I'm thrilled I can finally wear it together with my Breil, Tissot and a handful of Casio's!

Now I'm hyperfocussing on Nixon watches and found a nice one but the price seems a bit low. Are there fake Nixon's going around like with the Casio's and if so, how do you spot them?

Drie jaar geleden hebben wij een Jamet Dakota uit 2006 gekocht. Waarschijnlijk hebben we er twee jaar geleden na een vochtige voorjaarsvakantie toch wat schimmel in gekregen, zie bijgesloten foto's.

Is dit problematisch en zo ja, hoe is dit het beste aan te pakken? Het betreft enkel maar ook dubbel doek. Zelf dacht ik aan een azijn- of chlooroplossing (geen idee nog welke verhouding) om vervolgens het doek weer in te spuiten met "doekwaterdichting voor nat doek" (zie laatste foto).

Ik hoor graag jullie mening/ervaringen. 👍🏻
