I want to thank everyone in this community subreddit. My mother passed away from complications due to Parkinson’s and Dementia tonight. It has been a rough few months but dad and I are at peace that she is no longer in pain. She was this beautiful soul living a torturous death losing her body functions one by one while her mind also diminished. I cannot thank all of you enough for sharing your stories., it helped me navigate this journey more than anyone will ever know. I have seen hope in humanity here, may we all keep helping one another through difficult times 🙏🏽❤️‍🩹

Mom passed away tonight. It has been a brutal few days here in the very end. I want to thank everyone for sharing their stories and helping support one another through all their difficulties managing their family members and beyond. You are all incredible people.This subreddit made me feel like I wasn’t alone, it helped me manage my emotions, it helped me be selfless and understand many many people are dealing with the same situation as my family.
