Brass tapered spike/plug with a domed cap with lead, visible threaded screw, and arched loop on top, about 20 cm long, used to hold a rubber ring.
Found this solid brass “thing” in my late grandfathers workshop.
The top has some lead-like substance that is quite stiff but can be bend. Looks glued to the brass for most part though.
The rubber ring that sits between the top and the botten has fallen apart.
There are no identifying marks, however there are vertical marks and scratches visible that might give some information.
I also got a manual water pump made from copper (last 3 pictures). It’s really old, like 150 years or so at least and was used as the main water source in the farmhouse of an uncle of my great grandfather. It might be related to that, but it also might have nothing to do with it.
