Driving with ABS module unplugged?

Aside from the obvious danger of having no ABS or traction control. Is there any risk of mechanical damage to other components by simply having this module unplugged while I wait for the replacement?

Started as a mechanical grinding sound, now it’s more of a squeaking scraping sound. Changes with speed, not dependent on braking.

Sounds like rear right wheel area. Is this a wheel bearing?
