100 Perfect Games!

I finally have 100 perfect games on Steam! Although I am a little mad because I was playing a game for a video for my YouTube channel and got all the achievements without thinking about it so my 100th game was GARTEN OF BANBAN...

...expect my 101st game very shortly

Can they even call themselves Theorists anymore?

Serious question, are they even theory channels anymore? The episodes that were just show/game recaps were bad enough, but episodes like 'how to win at Mecca Chameleon or Among Us' cant even claim to be a theory since it's just basic tips every guide is using like 'don't make it obvious you're hiding'. I found most of their 'tips' posted online weeks before their videos came out.

But now we're starting to see videos like "I wish I liked The Amazing Digital Circus' which just reeks of 'this IP is still popular so we're going to keep talking about it' or 'Let's make it a little controversial so people click on it'. It's like they're not even trying to make theories anymore and are just trying to find any excuse to talk about what's popular for the week. It feels ridiculous to watch them end each video with 'but that's just a theory' after not theorizing for almost 30 minutes.

No, no it's not

I know a lot of people have been upset with the latest The Amazing Digital Circus video with its clickbait thumbnail and 'theory' that was just a giant recap of the final episode, but it's not the first time they've done this. I can't remember the last time we got a decent theory that wasn't just an episode recap or compilation.

Because why be creative when someone else has done the work for you

Seriously though, the last few videos have felt so low effort. The ARG ones are just reading off the steps to solve everything, the show recap episodes feel like they're just reading the plot synopsis from the Wikipedia page, and the compilation videos are getting ridiculous. It feels weird to claim to be in a new age of Theory and then reupload all old episodes with Mat Pat in it. I'd rather see higher quality videos posted once or twice a month than the weekly slop they've been producing.

Seriously, we don't hate the hosts

I feel like every time someone posts a criticism of the newest videos, the comments get flooded with people trying to defend the hosts like it's their fault, even though the criticism are more geared to the quality of the videos. A lot of us really like the new hosts and know it's not their fault the new videos aren't that good. I really doubt it was Lee's idea to post 2 Backrooms compilations in the span of a month or Tom's idea to keep posting Lore explanation videos on the same couple of games. Could we please stop undermining real criticisms of the videos by making it sound like we just secretly hate the hosts and want Matt back?

Do they even write theories anymore?

I feel like most of the episodes we've gotten, especially on Film Theory, are just them telling us what happens in each of the videos with little to no actual theory crafting. Most of the time they're just describing beat for beat what happens in a game or video and the theory is just a vague prediction of what will happen next. I'd rather just go watch the series than have someone explain what happens it.
