[Hobby] Artist needed!!!! I need an artist to help co create a comic series I had an idea for.
This first comic issue is a story I would like to direct but need an artist to help me bring my ideas to life. If anyone wants to help me with this for free and split the profit if it gets that far I would love that.
Page 1 and 2: it is a wide shot of the farm where Ren and his father lives Ren (12) is working on the farm. Then it is a closeup of him tending to crops with his clothes dirty and messed up. Ren talks about himself and his life in these two panels and in the last panel of this page he holds up a picture of his mom and tells us this is all he knows about her.
Page 3 ,4 and 5: Ren the next day gets back to work on his farm and as he's working on the farm he hears his father screaming and fighting for his life so he runs worried that his father is in trouble once his gets to the house he sees his father dead on the ground with no color on his body just black and white.one of the eclipse commanders over him. The eclipse is an organization that was thought to be fake but is real that kills threats to their attempt to rid the world of power that isn't theirs.
Page 6,7 and 8 Ren runs but fails to escape and they inject a serum in Ren that kills him and takes the color away from his body. Then they throw him and his father into the frozen lake as he sinks to the bottom he tells himself this cant be the end i have to fight and before he dies from the serum he regains all the color of his body and swims back to the top with all the strength he has
Page 9 and 10: a mysterious figure picks him up and says that he is barely alive. We need to get him to safety. Then it cuts to an infirmary with a massive scar the serum left on his chest and him skinny barely clinging to life.
Pages 11-20: he wakes up in a panic and the man that saved him reassures hes ok but ren is screaming about what happened where is his father and he will kill the vermin that killed his father the man that saved him introduces himself his name is Varek and he tells him that he is at the training ground of the solstice order an organization that brings order and balance to the world. Varek tells him that the eclipse killed his father because his father is a retired solstice order master. Ren vows to kill every last one of the eclipse members and begs Varek to train him and Varek says that it would be too dangerous to train him because his father had too high of a status and he would be a target for the eclipse soldiers.
Page 21-26 at this point Ren is healed and he is brought before the council of the solstice. The council of the solstice explained that they could not train him as it would be an abnormally high threat to his life. Ren insists he can overcome these obstacles and he can fight against the eclipse. They eventually give in and one of the masters Varek says he will train him. The issue ends with Ren starting his training to hone his body.
Character descriptions: ren is a 12 year old kid who is fit and very confused on the future of his life very outgoing and confident in his abilities
Ren's dad is a very firm big guy that has tough love with his son and will not talk about his mother to ren
Eclipse commander very cocky thinks he is the strongest and does not care about killing someone to gain his goals
Varek a very big fast guy that loves to help people but is hard on the people he cares about the most dresses like a warrior
