They are Bengali in all but name: they share the same religions, share similar genetics and culture, and speak the same language.

There will soon be a generation of Rohingya that who won’t remember life in Myanmar which is increasingly likely with the endless civil war and Myanmar will never accept them even if it does ends; they don’t deserve to be treated like refugees forever.

If the Biharis are legally recognized as citizens, why don’t the Rohingya get the right to choose to be citizens? They are our brothers, this is the least we can do.
