What are people doing to close off a redundant dryer vent?

It’s a 100mm diameter lined hole in a block and brick cavity wall.

There’s a vent flap externally so will keep that in place as it’ll be more cosmetically acceptable than hacked up bricks.

Is there a reversible method? For instance if the next owners of the house wanted to open the vent again.

I want to avoid bridging the cavity gap between the wall courses too.

Cheers!
