I know these streets like the back of my hand!!

Picked up GTA Vice City after decades and was surprised that I knew the directions to every single place unconsciously like it was my own city! Crazy how deep nostalgia runs in us.

What games do you guys remember thoroughly, as if you've lived there?

Stardew Valley and all it's Ancestors, in the "Palm of Your Hand!"

Never knew getting my mind blown by Stardew Valley on a GBA SP like device was in my 2026 bingo list! I have a two year long save on my PC, but the fact that I can play a quick day of Stardew Valley after my lunch at the office just makes me all warm and fuzzy for the day! (Linus ate my leek)

I was equally blown away by all the harvest moon games I've been playing from the Game boy colour to GBA to the first Harvest moon on the SNES. WHAT A BLAST!

This is a PortMaster port of Stardew Valley, gamefiles are never distributed and users always have to use their own legitimately own gamefiles from either Steam or GOG.

Remember guys, always support ConcernedApe.

SV for the first time with my Wife would forever be a "Core Memory!"

Being a longtime fan of SV, I was jumping on my toes when my girlfriend (now wife) finally agreed to give it a go. She has never been a gamer, and this was her first time Playing anything on the computer.

So I set up steam, made her an account, set everything up and it was genuinely ones these day I where you remember every single second vividly!

We talked, roamed around the town, I gave her every flower I could, and we laughed so much when I passed out for staying too late. We were making things work in long distance and Stardew Valley was that bridge that connected our busy schedules, showing what life could be when living together. My favourite memory is the video where I ran back and forth pretending to shower kisses before leaving for work in the farm, and she absolutely loved it!

A "$50 Handheld"... In this Economy??

Snagged an insane deal and got this bad boy for $50 on ali express! Genuinely blow away by how much this GBA SP styled device can do. It's running linux so I got a lot of PC ports running including Mina the Hollower!

It even does emulation till PS1 perfectly (running a RK3566) and some N64 and Dreamcast.

It's such a comfy handheld with quiet controls and I literally carry it everywhere (clocked 60 hours on this bad boy). It's the Miyoo Flip.

Edit : To everyone asking about the device, here's my review about the device after clocking 60 hours, if you're curious.

Why you should go for a Sapphire Glass... My "ONE YEAR" daily driver review!!

We all drool at every new trending release and collect them like infinity stones. I did the same last year with the Timex marlin Q chronograph for roughly 15k and wore it quite regularly, but my heart sank when it got a big scratch the very first day I wore it. Turns out it has an acrylic crystal. I wasn't a speck hunter back then and didn't pay much heed to the crystal being acrylic, mineral or sapphire.

Then I switched to the Pagani PD 1751 for roughly 4k last year, with a sapphire glass sandwich on both sides and I've been wearing this 5 days a week for the last year! It still looks as good as new! I'm genuinely surprised how there is not even a single scratch on this while my occasional watches all have had some bruises.

So the next time you are looking for a daily driver, do consider what kind of a crystal it has, as it will have to weather the Indian conditions on a daily basis. (still salty about my marlin Q)

A whole "CONSOLE" in the price of a modern game!!

It all started when I stumbled on Retro game corps video on this amazing hobby of retro gaming, and after tons of research, I ended up buying the Trimui smart pro for me and my brother.

9 months have passed since then, and I've accumulated 100+ hours on this gem!

It's a linux handheld so a crazy amount of PC games like Stardew valley, Celeste, GTA Vice City and San Andreas, TMNT and my personal favourite Balatro.

GBA and PSP looks awesome on this and I've also completed Chrono trigger and Dragon quest 1 on the SNES.

Even after accumulating a lot of higher end handhelds, I still come back to this solid starter handheld!

(The games in the photos are : Stardew valley, Undertale, Gta vice city, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Persona 3 and Monster hunter)

A note tho: it came with a generic SD card but I put my own SanDisk card in there as nothing would be worse than losing a 50 hours+ save file in final fantasy 3.

Took me 16 years but I FINALLY did it!!

I remember sitting hours after school on my NES playing this groundbreaking RPG called **dragon warrior (Dragon quest 1)** and it was worlds apart from the other games at the time. My tiny brain couldn't comprehend a living breathing world full of monsters and magic with endless possibilities!

But god damn the game was hard as hell as a kid, and this was before the internet, so no holding hands either. But after stumbling upon this sub, I had a gush of memories and went straight back to the GBC port of dragon warrior, and boy the music took me back two decades in a single second. Took a day off from my day job and blew straight through this gem and **this is honesty the most fun I've had gaming in years!!**
