Easy shutoff for Rain Bird Root Watering System?
Does anyone know if there's an easier way to shutoff a Rain Bird Root Watering System (Model C4SAM) other than capping or adding a shutoff to the lateral line? Is there some kind of simple cap I can screw onto the head itself to shut it off?
I have a weird setup where my personal yard has irrigation from the HOA controlled/owned feed lines, so I can't turn it off at the control panel. Specifically, I have a tree well in the middle of my concrete patio. The tree had to be removed recently and my plan is to not replant. However, the tree well still has two Rain Bird Root Watering Systems and they are constantly emitting water which is a waste and encouraging weed growth (and large numbers of ants). The lateral line appears to be relatively deeply buried and I worry the concrete edge will make it difficult to add a shutoff to the lateral line. (Plus, I'm just not very handy!)
Thanks in advance!
