How do you find interest in reading non-fiction books for pleasure? (contains small spoilers from Future of Geography by Tim Marshall)

I have tried reading non-fiction before. I tried Future of Geography and it had some cool parts in it. I like the part where it said that Americans were angsty of Russians shooting satellites to the space because that would mean if there missile can reach the moon then it can definately reach the USA. The author had written it in a slightly dramatic, literature-y way and I liked it. But the rest of the book was just information after information that I did not care for.

The only non-fic I have read completely and enjoyed it is Not The End Of The World by Hannah ritchie but that is mostly because it was related to my field and I thought it would be useful.

I reads ample amounts of fiction. From Percy Jackson to Gone with the Winds. From Ali Hazelwood to Stephen king. They have story, character development, slow burn romances between characters, plot twists, funny dialouges and that is why I like them. But non-fictions only have information, data. How does that simulate you? I am not trying to be offensive here even though I sound it (english is not my first language so I may not be able to show my inquisitve, curious intent well in english)

It is still great, mind you. The thrill is still there. The chemistry between the leads is still great. The final episodes is still very strong (most kdramas cannot say that). >!And they pulled off the serial killer storyline better than almost every other shows!<

>!However. Rewatching it again, knowing that the guy is planning to off himself in the last episode makes it a depressing watch. And you can tell the directors and the writers wanted to show us that. He grows increasingly dispondent as the series goes on. On your first watch, you get confused by his actions, but watching it again, you know exactly why he is doing it. !<

>!So many scenes you did not give much thought to becomes so much more emotional on your second watch: His last drive with his wife. Him telling her he never cheated on her and how good she looked when he first saw her. Him playing music in his office and resting on the sofa on the second last episode.!<

>!I almost choked up when he told/begged Si-mok to slow down and give him more time to speak when he is near the edge of the building in the last episode.!<

>!In many ways, he is the most significant character of the series. And the most complex and the most heartbreaking. !<
