Need to replace our washer and dryer. Reading through here looks like everything sucks nowadays.
If I don’t have SQ budget, what are the recommendations?
Washer: thinking top load with delayed start
Dryer: something that dries and has moisture sensing
Obviously, i know to stay away from Samsung
My old LG doesn’t dry, doesn’t produce hot air. Repair person said new part would be a few hundred to order plus additional for labor.
Costco has two Maytags:
- MGD5605RW $780
- MGD6200KW $650
Is the extra $130 worth it? It adds Petpro, extra power boost and steam refresh.
We do have a puppy but not sure what petpro really does and if it just adds complexity extra cost down the line for repairs. Also not sure how often we’d use steam refresh or the extra power boost.
Any issues with having appliances delivered and installed from Costco? Great that it’s free - assume it’s contracted out like most big boxes.
