What's the obsession with tenders?

I love fried chicken, and am always on the lookout for new places to go (Newcastle based).

The last 5 years or so have seen a lot of new places, which is great, but so many of them only serve tenders. I do not understand this. What's wrong with fried chicken on the bone? 😅🍗

Not yucking anyone's yum. No complaints if you prefer tenders. They are just so mediocre compared to chicken on the bone to me, and it annoys me that places that shout about how good their fried chicken is only do tenders.

I suck so bad I only came 3rd 😂

Audience choice and I was able to get the T7 that makes T6s off the discover a T7 spell everyone was given on turn 2. I was also playing Rafaam...

I did not play optimally, and ended up competing for Quills. Fun game though

Tailored/Custom made shirt

Any recommendations for a custom made shirt locally? Although I'm not the strangest shape, I always struggle to get a shirt to fit well, and it's been something I've wanted for a while now.

Looking through old posts I saw Isaac Walton suggested, but they have said they don't do this.

Ta!

Didn't even realise I could abuse the HP for a turn or two... Who needs skill?

Hi! Bit of an odd one but not the oddest thing I've seen on here 😅

I'm an ex Maths teacher, looking for a gathering of Maths teachers locally. I've spent the last few months designing some software for tracking progress in Maths and want to set up a stall or something at a gathering where there will be teachers who teach GCSE Maths to demo it and get feedback. Not actually looking to sell anything quite yet, but want to make sure it's in a good place, with some people using it, at the start of the next academic year.

Anything you can think of would be appreciated. Turns out that even more of my ex colleagues have left the teaching game than I realised!

Asking because I recently tried it due to feeling some minor-ish generally shite feelings and that's apparently what you do in 2026, and I just found the whole experience very odd.

I (37m) expected the councellor to offer advice, but instead there was just lots of random silences, and I didn't find the process particularly helpful to figure out what's going on in my head, or what I can do to fix it. I get they're not a psychotherapist, but I did about 6 sessions and, although I found the prices interesting, didn't find them participation useful.

Thinking about trying again but don't really want to chuck money down a pit for it.

Edit: thanks for all your responses, I think I've realised that therapy isn't really what I'm looking for. No big secrets or trauma to get over here, just stuck in a rut and I was looking for advice that friends and family don't seem to be able to give. Thanks anyway

I've been spending my free time for the last couple of months developing a website that is exactly what I wanted for tracking student progress when I used to teach Maths. I'd showed some early concepts to friends who taught back then, and received positive responses, with some suggestions.

Come to get in touch with the few active teachers I still know (there's a hell of a churn in that sector, even with long term teachers), just to go in and discuss what I've developed. Maybe give some free access etc. And just rebounded pretty much straight away. Disheartening.

I obviously hoped it was going to be the next big thing, but certainly didn't expect it to happen. I did think that the teaching teams would be open for discussion at least! Not sure what to do now other than dropping cold emails, but I don't really expect them to land, either if personal contacts didn't work at all!
