I got one of these steel ones ($179) from Amazon and it took a lot of time (10 hours+) to build it by myself but it was worth it! I’m bad with power tools so this was a good option for me. I’ll need to add mosquito mesh to it eventually. Does anyone have recommendations for outdoor cat trees? What else could I add to make it more enjoyable for them?

I used to like to go there like 5 years ago but now it’s a whopping $25 per visit with a $18 parking fee. We went to the night event with statues and half of the arboretum was closed including the area with the lake because of a wedding and it still cost $25. ( no they did not explain this on the ticket purchase page).

Customer service was rude as well ( idk why they are the ones that are upset, they aren’t the ones that had to pay) , saying no we won’t give a discount or refund because there was a map to show where the event was held ( that they did not hand out at the entrance ).

It really ruined my impression of them and it’s sad things are getting less and less accessible without paying an absurd amount.
