any other ways to play KOF XII

it was working on my old phone but now it's not available for some reason, is there any other ways i can play this game (on mobile if possible)?

or should i wait a bit to get it from steam?

Will be brave to say it's one of my favorite Kof games.. even though it's been a while.

Should player colors be considered canon somehow?

are they canon(like Blue Terry figures), or would it look weird to draw or imply a character with a different player color? Both in clothing and complete changes (like hair, skin and etc)?

Goenitz is misunderstood.

I don't like the way people call that character like a sinner, or just some random villain with furious ai. Goenitz is so much more than that, so i'll be here myself explaining why Goenitz is a misunderstood character since im free in time.

Actually i give a point, because his purpose is hardly even told (properly.)

What exactly is Goenitz?

He's a Hakkeshu member(the leader, to specify). a priest that devoted his life on Orochi and Orochi's awakening. He's a Kozuki.

His canonical, religious and main purpose is to awaken his lord, Orochi. besides that, he sacrifice people for Orochi also. Simply.

Not that he instantly kills them, He's not..sadistic. Goenitz is, surprisingly, the gentlest antagonist you can see in this game. Even in his dialogues with others are calm and caring. (Caring, he literally says "hope you find the right way, hope you experience a peaceful, painless death, etc.. Not like Rugal, phew.)

Many mistake him for being some catholic, but he's completely about Orochi itself, so he's not a sinner if you look from the other perspective. He's doing his job, as the Kozuki of Orochi.

And what was Orochi's purpose? Not even Orochi should be considered a villain. Their job is to balance the world, with it's own ways, a glimpse of Gaia herself. not to rule the world.

The ending would be good for the world. Yes, "this is bad for humanity, thats why they were stopped." Bingo. They are not humanish. Yes? Not even Goenitz himself into human-like stuff exactly, "your humanly minds couldn't handle the holy knowledge." That's why he's an antagonist. He's doing what's true to himself, he's not so affected by humans emotions or thoughts.

As if it isn't enough, he's extremely mischaracterized and mistranslated. Goenitz -in introduction books- is implied as a 'man that's surprisingly sensitive(emotionally), somewhat gentle, and calm'. This is his personality, excluding his commitment to Orochi.

in eng subs, most of his lines are.. just wrong.

(example: Fatal Fury's ending in KOF96, Goenitz says "i'm not running away anymore" in jp version, but it's translated as "i'm dying, you idiot" smh..)

(example2: Goenitz calling Mai a "natural beauty", just wrong, probably made to make Mai more common?)

NORMALLY HIS DIALOGUES ARE EXTREMELY SILLY?? HELLO? "Hi, please be my sacrifice?" What will he do if i say no? help?

Mid dipnote: i'm not saying he's fully innocent, but that he's definitely an antagonist, with reasons</3

And like in other quotes, in KOF96 Drama CD, Goenitz asks to Mature(?), "Hope you prized Kusanagi with his painless end." Which gets complex with the in-game dialogues, since it's told Goenitz beat the hell out of Kyo..but it is what it is.

And mind you, this white haired twonk saved Rugal's butt. TWICE. and he still asked if he's alright or not. Even Mature questioned why he saved Rugal.

Same with iori too, even tho iori was annoyed, he gave him chance.

So generally, he's misunderstood. Comparing him to other characters doesn't make much sense, because other characters are human-like, Goenitz is not, at least not emotionally.

He doesn't want to be a god, he doesn't want to rule anything, he's not killing people for his own fun... He's just a priest, doing his job.

Long story short bro is just doing 9-5 but doesn't forget to say good morning.

(Correct me if you feel something is off.)

This scene from Kof Destiny

i don't know why, but this scene is always making me laugh.

Like the way Geese is just short as hell next to Rugal.

it's a bit surprising when a villain isn't 1,90 or higher, cause that's often what happens with the bosses.

GOENITZ'S BIRTHDAY

TODAY IS MY MAIN GOAT GOATNITZ'S BIRTHDAY.

happy birthday (LEOPOLD VON) GOENITZ🔥🔥🔥

Talking about the angel, here's a simple funfact about him;

in the artbooks/character introduction books, Goenitz is stated as a "man that's surprisingly sensitive" (emotionally), but for some reason, most of his quotes are mistranslated (in eng version).

You... You already knew that? okay.. oh okay...

WHY IS GOENITZ SO POOR I LOVE HIM

it's hard to imagine Goenitz as a proper villain..

There's tyrant Rugal, wild godly Igniz, greedy-for-lots Krauser, then there's Goenitz💔

"Please become my sacrifice" OKAY BRO.😭

Let's say we can change one character per team.

if you guys could change one character from any team, who are you changing to who? (Doesn't matter if it's accurate, makes sense or not! They will replace each other.)

Personally i'd just swap Chizuru with Vanessa, i always found her more fitting..

What do you all think?

Worst ship

What's the worst ship this fandom can have in your opinion? 'i can't bear to see' degree?

it can be canon, fanon, popular or not, any kind. So bad that it makes you wanna block (or not THAT equally bad!)

Misunderstood characters?

Who do yall think in lore is misunderstood and why?

I'd say Krizalid, some people can't understand the deep writing in him imo. He's a man of duty that's manipulated, and abandoned..

i'd say Goenitz too BUUUT i'm not in the mood to get downvotes today, so who do yall think is misunderstood?

#2 i believe every Kof character has a fan...

Meet Gustav Munchausen, from kof EX2. A millionare who's goal was to somehow revive Goenitz/insert Goenitz's powers with the help of a kid named Sinobu Amou, whom he manipulated into being family, kind of.

Now i love the dude and the design and he's very DARK and he looks like some cartel tbh.

shortly, he wanted to use Sinobu as a host (just like Chris was the host body for Orochi), and he even MANAGED to do that, Sinobu in FACT absorbed the powers of Goenitz, yet his own personality and soul fought against the power of Goenitz inside, it turned something like an alter ego.

He made the tournament to test Sinobu's powers, make more experiments about the abandoned Orochi power, and all.

You fight with Sinobu instead of Gustav, even tho he's the main villain... He vanishes after the defeat of absorbed Sinobu.

Dipnote: i'm TERRIFIED by the design of absorbed Sinobu, so i'm NOT adding him.

does he even exist in the canon universe? i dunno but i very much like the idea generally. What do yall think?

I believe every kof character has a fan, so..

Meet Reiji Oogami, from KOF EX2: Howling Blood. (Nintendo game!)

And yes, that's his Daughter. And his favorite thing is his daughter, too. What a dad!

He himself is a part of the Yata clan, protector of the Hetsu Mirror. He's a member of the Hero Team his game, representative of Chizuru. They share the same powers too.

He didn't appear in any other KoF game, for some reason. What do yall think about him? Do you know him?

all-boy band?

We have all-girls, 2-2, but how would it feel to have an all-boy band?

I personally think there's not enough male characters in this game... Vocaloids not counting.

I kidna feel like MMJ theme would fit very well for a boy-band! Any ideas?

Maybe Goenitz himself is Gaidel

Now i know yall gonna say 'no he's a different person %100' we KNOW that so let's just imagine a different version of the canon

What if Goenitz IS Gaidel?

Okay first of all what we know about Gaidel is that he's Leona's father and that he's kind of against Hakkeshu (not kinda, he IS against it)

We don't know his face tho we see a little bit of him in Kof Zillion. His colors are off and he's turned his back. But just from this view i hardly even see any differences from goenitz (the 2 lined belt and all, but i'll talk about it later.)

And what we also know is that he's eliminated by Goenitz, with the help of Riot of Blood.

The thing i want to say about Leona is that i wonder why Leona didn't react or run away from Goenitz when he saw it. Since also Gaidel and Goenitz argued about their duty, and how Gaidel wants to live in peace.

Maybe it's because they are the same person, and that Leona was just looking at his father when Goenitz achieved the Riot of Blood.

But she 'killed' Gaidel and her entire village. But we didn't saw the whole thing. it could be metaphorically, poetically, or maybe because he himself was going crazy, and he ended up using Leona to calm himself. Who knows whatsoever. (Just a reminder: i KNOW Gaidel is a separate person. Don't jump on me!)

What i'm saying is that Gaidel is a mirrored version of Goenitz, and the argument they had never happened physically, because it was in Goenitz's head.

Talking about mirror, in KOF 96, Goenitz can die to himself as an ending, which the screen ends up cracking and all, Chizuru saying "you fight yourself, you kill yourself." So maybe Gaidel and Goenitz did the same too, if they are the same person in this theory.

We never saw his face, and other than that, the names too.

They are kinda similar, just a little.

The name Gaidel means; "God is my fortune."

But Goenitz doesn't have a meaning (from what i know, correct me if it has one.)

Which leads me to think that maybe Goenitz is the second version of Gaidel, and Gaidel is the first soul/version that appeared, later then Goenitz appeared/was sent for some reason (that Gaidel didn't want to do his duty.), or maybe he just has some personaltiy disorder, why not?

And the belt. Okay, i'm interested in too little details. But Gaidel has a double belt, while Goenitz have only one. Makes me think that Gaidel had both himself and Goenitz, a war in the head, and now Goenitz is the only one left.

And in KOF 97, ikari team's ending.

She sees Gaidel, and Gaidel warns her to not follow Orochi, nor his own destiny, but to make her own.

in KOF 97, Both Gaidel and Goenitz are dead. i kind of like to think that Gaidel returned (since Goenitz died too,) and became himself again.

And theres also Shermie's quote with Leona too.

"Hehehe... If that's all you can do, how can you bear to face your father?"

we know that Gaidel is loooonnnggg dead. Who is she talking about? Goenitz? Well, why not?

That's all i have in mind currently, correct me if i said anything wrong!

King and Ryo's first meeting

So basically King was working as a 'bodyguard' and she was told to kill Ryo Sakazaki.... Which is... Unexpected for their meeting.

Devil May Cry başlamak istiyorum
