C Corp vs S Corp starting basis
Is there a difference in this scenario for basis amount, in C vs. S?
MonkeyCorp has equal ownership between Dave and Buster. Dave contributed building with adjusted basis of $50,000. It has a $30,000 mortgage on it.
Is Dave's basis ($50k minus $30k) + (50% of $30k) = $35,000 for both scenarios? Or does S corp not included the share of liability?
