Image 1 — Literally just ordered 2 new tires for my front set and today saw this on my left rear. Going on a 2ish hour road trip in 2 weeks. Sprayed down with water/soap, no bubbles at all. Went ahead and yanked it out, still no bubbles to be seen. Live on and send it or go ahead and replace anyways?

Tread life likely at 60%ish so would prefer to not replace if its not needed.

How unsafe/concerning is this decaying junction box/fraying wire coming in from the right side?

Looking to get input on if it's something we should contact our landlord about in regards to potential fire hazard.
