paling broodje amsterdam
i’ve been asking for recommendations for paling in groningen and nobody really had any for me. and kibbeling there is like fifteen euros and it’s mostly chips. so i had to go to the consulate today on museumplein in amsterdam, which puts me right next to Albert Cuypstraat, so i was able to get this paling broodje at a little vishandel. it’s kind of the perfect snack. tasty, filling, but not too filling. i think i might add onions or pickles but honestly it’s great with just pepper because the eel is so fatty.
i also wish i had a beer, but i’m poor so just the fish will have to do. €8, pret-á-lopen.
