I looked through both, and they both have something questionable/bad going on around them.

Dune - basically every DLC is underwhelming and for the latest one, the devs somewhat lied in what they promised vs what was delivered.

Ark - it's the same as Evolved just with some QoL and UE5 coat of paint (and equally bad optimization). Oh, and paid mods (according to steam reviews). + badly moderated official servers (but I don't care) +180Gb of storage space required

I'm playing solo only and want the game to last at least 50hrs, the more - the merrier. Which one would you recommend? How's Dune's variety in in-game activities? How's Ark's optimization so far after the initial release? Do both games support single player as in I don't need to be constantly online?

I like good worldbuilding and exploration, combat and rpg mechanics. Basebuilding - I don't care that much. As far as I can tell, both DA and ASA have what I like.

I have 60 fps frame limit set in the Global profile. And I have 117 fps limit in a specific Game profile. When using the overlay, I see that the limit applied is from the Global profile. Even though if I disable it (set to 0), that Game specific profile will apply instead.

How can I make a Game/App profile overwrite the Global one? Or, in other words, move Global down in priority order (if there is a way to)?
