Hi everyone,

I own an Acer Nitro 5 AN517-54-53AQ model. I have upgraded it to 2x16 GB DDR4 Dual Channel RAM, so there are no RAM bottlenecks or compatibility issues. However, I am experiencing significant performance problems.

When checking via GPU-Z, I noticed that my RTX 3050 is running at PCIe x4 instead of x16 or x8. This seems to be heavily limiting the GPU's bandwidth. Furthermore, during gaming—specifically in The Last of Us Part 1—the GPU stays around 55W even though it should reach up to 75W.

These hardware limitations are directly affecting my framerates. While benchmark videos on YouTube show this specific model achieving around 40 FPS, I am struggling to get even 22 FPS on the same settings. Is this a known issue with this specific model, or is it unique to my unit? Has anyone encountered this or found a potential fix?

Hi everyone,

I am planning to buy my first-ever AMD GPU, so I’m a bit nervous. I’ve found a used RX 6800 for about $300 (13,500 TRY) in my local market. My budget is very tight, and I really can’t afford to be scammed or have a dead card on my hands.

Even if I perform all the necessary stress tests (Furmark, Superposition, etc.) before buying, is it still possible for the GPU to fail 2-3 months down the line? Is there any way to predict a potential failure, or is it just a gamble?

I have a few specific concerns:

  1. I’ve heard that MSI and ASUS TUF are the most reliable models. However, I’ve also heard about frequent issues with XFX cards, so I’m quite biased against them and plan to avoid that brand unless told otherwise.
  2. Regarding technical issues, I’ve observed that "Black Screen" and driver timeout issues seem to be more prevalent on the RX 6800 compared to the 6700 XT or 6900 XT. In your experience, is this observation correct? Is the 6800 inherently more problematic than its siblings?

I want a stable 1440p gaming experience without constant troubleshooting. Is this card a safe bet for a first-time AMD user in 2026?

Thanks for your advice!
