Hey ASO community,
Looking to finally put my energy into the second part of any project that often gets overlooked and ignored by engineers like myself. Marketing / GTM.
Looking to get some feedback on my marketing screens for my “basically a habit tracker” app Streakr.
https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/streakr-discipline-tracker/id6758867532
Do the first few screens explain the high level idea immediately? Essentially it’s a competitive global habit app where you compare anonymous task data with others globally.
New to all this marketing and ASO stuff, but looking to improve as i learn more!
Any other suggestions would be welcomed. I specifically used “discipline tracker” as the title to not get killed on the “habit” key word as that word is heavily saturated.
Thanks for any suggestions 🙏
Had to take down my previous post because Apple doesn't allow manual free subscriptions.
App was $3.99, now free to download.

Streakr is a habit tracker built around global competition. You track your habits daily, build streaks, and get ranked against friends and global users by percentile. The more consistent you are, the higher you climb.
For the premium subscription, Apple caps giveaways at 1 year. Comment 'Streakr' below and I'll send the 1 year free premium sub if you want!
Would love feedback from anyone who tries it!
I want to test different device sizes. Theres xcode simulator but I think I need the entire project to be on my machine to run it through expo go (on the simulator)
Curious what keeps you on any productivity app. Simplicity? Feature richness? Design?
Edit: ok it seems the general consensus is simplicity / low friction.
I build a habit tracker (yes another one, but its free)
Streakr - Compete on Habits
Is this considered simple / low friction?
Hey r/productivity,
I'm the solo developer behind Streakr, a free iOS habit tracking app. Looking for genuine feedback as I just recently launched.
The core idea: every habit in the app is by default anonymously visible across all users. You can see how many people are trying to streak the same thing as you, where they drop off, and where you rank against them on streak length. No names, just data.
It turns habit tracking into something closer to a leaderboard than a journal.
The rest of the app is what you'd expect: daily task view, streak counters, a stats page. There's also a friends layer if you want actual accountability with people you know.
The app is free: https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/streakr-compete-on-habits/id6758867532
If you download it and want to share real feedback, I'll give you a year of pro access for it (the max apple allows). Just comment or DM me !
The feedback im looking for is
Thank you in advance! Cheers
Hey r/testmyapp, looking for honest feedback on Streakr, a habit tracker I just launched on iOS.
The core idea: your habits are ranked anonymously against other users. You can see what percentile you fall in and compete with friends on a leaderboard. I want to know if that competitive angle actually lands or if it feels gimmicky.
Specifically looking for feedback on:
- First time experience, does it make sense without explanation?
- The ranking and leaderboard features, do they motivate you or feel pointless with a small user base?
As a thank you for genuine feedback, I'll give you Elite (the pro subscription) for life. Download, test it, and comment your username with your thoughts.
