Re-creating/ 3D printed iDog?

Hi! I've been thinking about getting an idog someday, but for some reason, I've been getting slight existential thoughts about how one day, there wont.... be..anymore idogs to have.

So it got me wondering, has anyone ever attempted to recreate a retro or 3D printed an idog, to help preserve its legacy? Is that possible? If so where?
