I’m a dropper and feeling completely lost. I got a 438 rank in NID (General) last year, took a drop to improve, but just failed to clear NID, UCEED (scored 117 after messing up the 50-mark dog POV question), and MITID.

The biggest wall right now is financial. My father recently lost his job, and our absolute maximum family budget is 10-14 lakhs. Meanwhile, private design colleges demand 20+ lakhs just for tuition.

I’m not naturally "god-gifted." I’ve worked insanely hard on my skills for years—from grinding out hyper-realistic portraits in high school to recently teaching myself digital art.

I'm putting in the actual work.

But right now, without an NID/IIT tag or the money to buy a private college seat, I feel hopeless. Is there a viable career path for someone building a digital illustration and animation portfolio on their own? Or is this field just becoming a rat race for the wealthy? Any advice on how to get a job in this industry without a fancy degree would mean a lot.
