Can low physical activity lead to dysregulation of the nervous system and anxiety/panic attacks?

For last 5-6 years I have been averaging ~500-2000 steps a day. Programming job, Car and only weights in the gym.

I have similar symptoms to POTS with elevated heart beat but when do a walk it stays a bit higher even when im resting(been to every possible doctor, nothing), but never the exhaustion or inability to do my daily things. Also every stressor seems unmanageable like job, gym, conflict between parents and etc.

Now for 3 weeks straight I try to average 8-10k steps and had moments where I felt completely ok like good mood, apetite and so on. But today I had a panic attack again, not so scaring like a year ago but still.

Do you believe this can be done by that sedentary life because that is the only thing I would find that differs from before that time?
