Game Title: Royal Merge

Playable Link: https://kilarubrchkn.itch.io/royal-merge

Platform: Web & Mobile (iOS and Android)

Description: You try to merge coins by dropping them one at a time onto a stack. It starts simple but gets harder as the board fills up. If your coins stack too high, it’s game over.

There are also random encounters that interrupt gameplay and change things up, like:

  • Physics changes by a Court Jester
  • Tax Man demanding coins
  • Temperamental potions from an ambitious Alchemist
  • The King making challenging demands with rewards or punishments
  • Funky drinks from a Knight

It’s playable instantly in browser, no download needed.

Free to Play Status:

  • Free to play
  • Demo/Key available
  • Paid (Allowed only on Tuesdays with [TT] in the title)

Involvement: I'm the solo dev behind this game. I'm proud of the feel, the colours and sounds, and just the fun simplicity of it.

Comment your high score so we can get a leaderboard going! My personal best is £3,219.

Royal Merge: chaotic character-filled merging game with satisfying FX

I made a simple game called Royal Merge.

You drop coins to merge matching ones and climb from 1p up to £5. It’s pretty relaxing at first, then turns into controlled chaos when the board fills up and zany characters make you laugh, tempt you with greatness, or make outright unfair demands.

Characters include:

  • A Tax Man demanding you pay up
  • A King giving you challenges with rewards or punishments
  • A Court Jester messing with the game's physics
  • A rambunctious Knight who offers drinks or duels
  • And more... (I won't ruin the surprise!)

It’s fully playable in browser, no login, completely free.

The main goal is just chasing a high score. My best so far is £3,219, so if you’re the kind of person who likes breaking records I’d be interested to see what you can do.

I'm a solo dev behind this game and I'm particularly proud of the audio and visuals, I think it makes the game very satisfying to play!
