TracFone gift cards - fees above face value of the gift card

Was at Dollar Tree the other day and decided to refill my TracFone. I purchased a $20 gift card. I was charged $20 + $1.60 tax (I live in upstate NY, if it matters) + $1.20 "PREPAID WIRELESS CHARGE" (per the receipt) at the register, for a total of $22.80 cash, at the register. This got me thinking-- I've seen these gift cards offered at other places, do they have similar add-on fees above face value? What have your experiences been? What if I had gone to, say, CVS, or Dollar General, or Wal-Mart, or ordered one from Amazon.com for delivery? Thanks for any responses.

Perinton Amphitheater in Fairport - question on concessions and drinks

Going to a concert tomorrow in Fairport at the Perinton Amphitheater. Never been there before. Hoping to have a great time. Does anyone know if concessions and drinks are cash only, credit card, or both? Trying to figure out how much cash I should bring with me. I tried finding this information on their website but couldn't, so thought I would ask here.

Also, anyone been there recently and know what kind of beers they have?

Where to sell scrap copper tubing?

I just took down some copper tubing from my basement that was used decades ago by an old central A/C unit (that hasn't worked in many, many years). It sorta fits in the cardboard box in the picture. Not having any use for this spare copper, I want to sell it.

I've never sold scrap metal before. Where should I go? I'm on the west side, so preferably a place in Gates/Greece/Chili.

I see that there's a Metallico location on Scottsville Road that might be the closest to me. How are they? What do I do? Just show up during business hours, haul in the box, and request cash?

Other places that might be as good or better?

Before anyone asks, this is legally my property-- no nefarious shady things going on here, so I when I go to sell it to a legitimate business, I'm hoping that it'll be the same. Sure I can show ID if needed.

Thanks for any advice. Sorry for all the newbie questions.
