What is out there that allows for a good work/life balance?
I’m currently in the Powersports industry as a Finance Manager. But dealership life can be excruciating. Yeah I have Sunday & Monday off every week, but during the week I am often working late. I get here close to 8 AM and I’m often here until 7 or 7:30 PM, and sometimes even 8 or 9 PM. Not to mention I don’t get a ton of time off.
More relaxed than the car industry, I know, and it hasn’t been a real problem for a while, but I have my first kid on the way now, and I refuse to let work interfere with being there more for my kid. I don’t want to miss milestones and such as they are growing up.
Is it even real to have a good work/home life and still make let’s say $120k or so a year without a degree or some sort?
