To what extent is critical thinking a trainable skill vs a byproduct of cognitive capacity?

I often see the argument that "critical thinking is a skill that some people never learn," implying it’s purely a matter of education or habit. However, I’m curious about the underlying cognitive constraints.

CORE results of non-native 16yo with ADHD, why discrepancy in score of AGCT?

Hi guys, I did both of these tests before I was diagnosed with adhd and I didn't do the comprehension test on core because I was a bit lazy and I'm not a native speaker, and it's been apparant that my wmi is quite low compared to other indexes as I noticably struggle to doing mental math and block counting on the agct which might be the reason why I scored lower and I also struggled a lot with timed tests due to anxiety.

my scores from other tests are 133 JCTI, 146 TRI52, 34/36 RAPM set 2

I just want to know which of these tests should I take as reliable for my score and what might explain my discrepancy in scores, thanks in advance
