I had already been on HRT for about 7 months and was getting to the point where people were noticing that I was looking different so I decided today was the perfect day to come out - Oct 11 2023. The pictures on the left are from October 2023 and the ones on the right are from October 2026. I'm now almost 4 years on HRT and infinitely happier to be me.
Before transition, at age 37 I very much looked 37. Now I look at my old pictures and think "that guy could be my dad."
I'm almost 4 years into transition and I've never been confident enough to wear a cami + skirt. Over the past year I lost almost 50lbs and I'm so proud of how much better I look in camis.
Had to go through some very tough family stuff but I got through it. Now I'm waiting for October, when I go back to the Netherlands to visit my girlfriend 🥰

Started transition in 2023 at age 37
One thing I will never regret is choosing to live. I started transition at 37, and I'm 41 now. I thought it was too late, but it wasn't. Turns out it's never too late.
I am with somewhat regular frequency told that I look "queer" or "lesbian" and while I am both, I find it really odd because I don't think I look or dress differently than any straight girl does. It's not something that upsets me, more just a curiosity.
