Poorly printed Pokemon Red/Blue manual - genuine?

I posted this on the gameverifying sub a few days ago but didn't get any responses there, so hope it's alright to crosspost here in case anyone can help. Sorry if this thread falls foul of rule 6 (I couldn't actually find the fake cartridge thread mentioned in the sidebar).

I bought a loose manual for Pokemon Red/Blue to complete my box and cart only copy of Red. I've noticed that it has a printing error on several pages where the printing is somewhat misaligned, if that's the correct term. I can't see anything else wrong with the manual, so I'm wondering if this is likely to be a genuine printing error, in which case I'm fine with it, or if it's a sign that it's fake?

More generally, is there anything I should be looking at to try and tell a fake manual from a genuine one?

(I posted this originally on the gameverifying sub, but didn't get any responses there, and figured I might get more responses on this sub. I hope it's alright for me to copy and paste the same content here).

I bought a copy of Ninja Gaiden Black recently and only noticed yesterday when I went to play it that the disc art is incredibly low res, such that the text is barely legible - see the "Do not make illegal copies of this game" text above the rating logo. Everything else appears genuine, including the case and manual, but the disc art has the appearance of one of those bootleg DVDs you used to see at every market and car boot sale in the olden days. It looks really cheap and fake.

I've checked a few other copies I can find on ebay and elsewhere and none of them look like this, but I have also read (in the context of the Xbox 360 as opposed to OG Xbox, but still) that Xbox quality control for these sort of things used to be all over the place, so I'm wondering if it's just a badly printed disc but is otherwise genuine? Notably, it has the shiny Xbox logo on the centre ring of the disc, and I don't know if Xbox bootlegs - to the extent that they're a thing - ever replicate this?

The obvious thing to do would be to test it, but my Xbox is chipped so even if it's a bootleg it would presumably still run (which it does).

Does anyone have an opinion on it?

I bought another Xbox game from the same seller and that definitely appears to be genuine. They were selling a lot of Xbox games and there was nothing at all off about the listings that I could see.

I don't know if anyone is going to be able to help me with this one, but I'll ask just in case.
