A wild CSX heritage unit has been spotted on Google Maps
CSX 1899 (Pere Marquette) stopped at Atlanta for a refill, leading a intermodal train
(This is about a year old though🫠)

I know it’s not gonna happen, but imagine if Amtrak brought back the observation cars like these to go on the back of their long distance trains when the single-level fleet comes in the 2030s
With Amtrak going single-level across it’s entire fleet, how long do you think the trains will be when the new coaches get built?
With Amtrak planning to get new single level coaches by the 2030s, do you think there will be a demand for the return of some cars on Amtrak trains, like the ones on VIA RAIL’s ‘Canadian’?
