Walmart service forgot to put the oil cap back on. Camry , wife drove 1000 miles after , I came to notice gas/oil smell into cabin

Went to a near by dealer rhodeisland -RAV4 XLE

Any rav4 in lot has a PPF installed for front grill until bonnet. (Bonnet doesn’t have it) . PPF quote is 2450$.
On top of dealer add ons such as mudguards for 2000$.
So
37500 xle base
2000$ add ons (white color 500$)
2500 PPF quote
1500$ destination.
500$ documentation
3000$ tax.
Is this the new normal
