I have a 2014 Lexus GS350AWD. I went to fill some water jugs and when I got home and opened the trunk, one of the water jugs exploded and water went EVERYWHERE. I’m not a car person so I was unaware of any possible damages. I just took out the mat and dried it. And I continued driving and tried to turn on music but the volume wasn’t working and no sound was coming out. Then I searched on google and realized… MY AMPLIFIER WAS IN THE TRUNK AND GOT WET 😭 so using a YouTube video, I found it and dried out the area. I haven’t removed the amplifier because I don’t have the tools to get it out :( what should I do now? Is it too late to repair it? Do I have to replace the amplifier and get a new one? Are any other parts possibly damaged? Is this going to be a crazy expensive fix ? :( what do I need to do? Did I destroy my whole car? :(
