UCR First Year Transfer Student Director Classes Help

So currently, I'm trying to plan out a schedule for my first semester at UCR as a film director, and I'm following track number four on the degree information website for my major. But as I'm trying to pick out these classes, I'm confused about what to do, like on track 4 I'm trying to see what classes I need to take for "1. Directing emphasis,s"but I'm confused about whether I should pick ALL of TFDP 109, TFDP150A, TFDP 150B for my first semester or not? And that's the case. What do I do for TFDP 150B since it's not even offered for the fall term? On top of that, do I pick out classes from "2. Literature History and Criticism, 3. Electives 4. Production requirement" Also? If so, then do I pick the classes that fulfill the unit requirement? Another question I have is whether there is a unit limit on what I can do for all 4 upper division requirements of Directing. OR AM I OVERTHINKING EVERYTHING AND SHOULD I JUST ASK A COUNSELOR ON MY ORIENTATION DAY IN 2 WEEKS?

Transfer Student Renting Help

Pretty soon I'm going to transfer over to UCR as a transfer student for the fall semester of 2026, and I have yet to pick my classes because apparently I have to do all that at orientation or after orientation, and around two weeks, and my question is since the window for renting a dorm is closed for UCR. What is a good option for someone who is just looking for a single room that is near UCR? Like, should I look for websites like Craigslist for someone who's renting a room,m or are there better options for someone wanting to rent a single room for one person?

UCR film director

I’m transferring from cypress college to UCR for film, I really want to be a director so I’m choosing directing based classes according to the UCR website. Since this is my first uc and first time at UCR, what should I know about my major? What should I know about my classes? What stuff in general would be helpful for a transfer student like me going to UCR for the first time?

How to be fast with totes

I’m a level 3 with a totes shift tmrw (8:45am) is there any tips I can get or like a guide anyone can tell me to get my totes done FAST. There have been times where Im in the middle of peeling totes for black spots and a manager has told me that I’m incredibly slow and I should already have one full cart done already. One trick I use is pouring an entire bag into the machine instead of pouring half of it in the bucket and from the bucket into the machine. And for cleaning I just use the pressure washer rather than some soap and brush. Still, I’m still slow! How can I be faster with my totes shifts?
