Prepping books (pt.2)

In addition to my post a few days ago about finding home repair and auto repair books 2nd hand, I picked up this 1000+ page Medical Guide for $2, so if anyone wasn't convinced about prepping knowledge before, maybe reconsider!

Having first aid, tools and other gear is only as useful as the user, and books like this will give you the upper if you're in a pinch and can't use Google or YouTube.

Getting training and practice is always #1, but if you currently don't have the time or money to do either of those, cheap books are a good start for, better to be skill-less and have access to knowledge, then neither.

24hr EEG

So im doing a 24 hour EEG where they hook me up to the electrodes and send me home. Now, when I got home I put on a Durag so the wires would get snagged or anything like that. After like an hour of wearing i thought that it might interfere with the result... so my question is, would it? Can I wear stuff on my head (loose fitted ofcourse) or should I avoid that for the remainder of the test?

I only ask cause I gotta go out in Public for a few hours soon and would rather my head be covered lol

Prepping Books

One thing I don't see people talk about alot is prepping advanced knowledge books. Obviously more for a severe SHTF situation where internet is down for the foreseeable future. But it's relatively cheap and as long as you have a single bookshelf in you're house, you can fill it with all sorts of books.

Found half of the 1970 Do-It-Youself Encyclopedia at a thrift store for $1/book, and a 1977 Auto Repair book for $4. And if internet is down, you can assume most cars with computers won't work either, so any vehicle 1980's or older will be you're best bet, which this book will cover.

How many of you collect books for prepping? If so, what other books would you reccomend?

My fiancee and I are getting married and moving in together in a this summer, and want to get deeper into the christian walk. We don't want to go to a physical church because we don't know where we are moving to yet, and want to find something local once we know where we are moving to.

So in the meantime we are hoping to watch some online sermons. I was raised christian, and know a good amount, but havnt really been involved for a while. I would like it to be baptist or Lutheran or any other denomination/teaching with saved through faith alone.

Were both pretty old school and conservative in our beliefs so even an older video series would be good too. Dont need flashing lights or anything like that.

Please let men know what sieres youve watched and reccomend!

Looking for a tent with a thicker material (maybe insulated or canvas) for colder canadian weather. Figured with summer coming there might be sales on winter stuff lol.

For size something that can fit two 5'10" people comfortably. Maybe with space to stand, but id even settle for a smaller one too.

Price range really depends on the tent. Willing to pay more if its got more space and an area for a fireplace in the winter or fall. But id settle for a simpler one as long as it can hold heat decently well.

If any of you camp in colder or harsher conditions, let me know what you got and recommend! Thanks!
