When god was angry he would throw a tantrum and start ki lling people, sending snakes to bite people, opening up land to swallow people, instructing brothers to ki ll each other, etc, and when he was happy he’d start promising them the land/wealth he didn’t even own to the Israelites, they needed to do horrible stuff to get it.
